Tony
Knox (Lead Artist)
Knox
is currently studying his Masters in Visual Arts at Preston
University, England. His creative practice includes digital
media technology, internet and web based projects, performance
and photography. Knox has initiated several curatorial and
collaborative programmes throughout the Northwest of England
and internationally. He has founded the precepts of Podgy
on his continued practice, both as an artist and curator,
conceiving projects to touch on a wide range of concepts and
enabling research and development in the contemporary arts.
He was curator of the egg space 2000-2005 gallery space, formery
the Acorn Gallery, based in Liverpool, England. His professional
experiences has ranges from working as a Photographer, Curatorial
Researcher. Multi-media Designer, Painter (Mixed media), Lecturing,
Workshops Leader, Projects Co-ordinator and a Consultant for
Curatorial Initiatives.
Lisa
Barry (Associate Artist)
Lisa Barry completed a Masters Degree
in Fine Art Photography from Derby University in 2003. Her
personal work explores the uses of narrative verses ambiguity
within a range of visual arts and mixed media. Lisa has continued
to develop her relationship with the self and identity using
photography, text, design, costume and film, presenting the
results in many formats, via exhibitions or published works.
Lisa is a member of Pool Arts, a group of artists based in
Greater Manchester.
