
The
exhibition at 5athegallery is titled "Story of a
Hero" and showcases artwork created by young people
from De La Salle High School in St Helens. Pupils worked with
artists Tony Knox and Lisa Barry, during a 16-day residency
and produced work from ideas related to Superheroes. The exhibitions
runs from 31 October 2006 to 25 November 2006.

This
project was funded by the Field Fund, a Trust Fund set up
by St Helens Council with funding donated by Antony Gormley
following the creation of the internationally acclaimed artwork,
Field for the British Isles, which was created in St Helens
in 1993.

'The
Liverpool Biennial is an international festival of contemporary
art and is the UK's biggest visual arts festival. For ten
weeks every two year's, several hundreds of the worlds most
exciting visual artists show their work in over 40 locations
across Liverpool city centre from major gallery spaces to
unexpected temporary locations.
